Installation

Living wall installation in London and the Home Counties.

Our own team fits the frame, the irrigation and the plants, timed around access, other work on site and handover. For homes and commercial spaces across London and the Home Counties.

Based in London. Working across the capital and the Home Counties.

01 — What installation includes

One team for the frame, the water and the plants.

The wall is installed as a whole. We do not leave the planting, or the irrigation, for someone else to finish.

01

Our own install team

The people who fit the system are the people who plant it. No hand-off between trades on the day.

02

Planting to the scheme

Plants go in at the density the design set, so the wall reads as a wall, not a grid of gaps.

03

Irrigation, tested

The watering is commissioned before we leave, not left as a note for later.

04

Timed around the site

Scaffold, other trades and handover are planned before we arrive, so the install does not sit in the way.

05

Access arranged

We agree how we reach the wall, for the install and for the visits that follow.

06

A handover you can use

You know how the wall is watered, who looks after it, and what the first season will ask of it.

02 — How it works

Four stages, from the visit to handover.

01

Survey and access

Fixings, water and how we reach the wall are agreed before the van arrives.

02

Frame and irrigation

The system goes on, and the watering is run and checked.

03

Planting

The scheme is planted in one visit, or sequenced if the wall is large.

04

Handover

The wall is left growing, with a clear note of how it is cared for.

What an install with us actually covers. Timing follows the wall and the access, not a standard day rate printed here.

04 — On site

Fitted around the building, not in spite of it.

A living wall touches other work: the structure, the waterproofing, the water supply and whoever else is on site. We sequence the install so those interfaces are settled before the plants arrive.

Homes are usually quieter. Commercial sites need a programme, access and a handover that the facilities team can actually use.

If the design is already done, by us or by someone else, we can install to that specification.

05 — Chosen by the wall

Homes and larger buildings.

The same team, a different pace. The wall decides the programme.

Private homes

Courtyards, gardens and lightwells, installed with care for the house around them and handed over ready to live with.

Commercial spaces

Offices, entrances and developments, timed around other trades and left with a maintenance route.

06 — Relevant projects

Designed, then built.

“The scheme was clear from the start, and the finished wall is exactly the one we talked through. It has changed the courtyard completely.”
